Filmmakers’ Hangout & Screening (Pop-up Film Lounges Are Back!)
Join us for a night of creativity, fun, and networking at the Filmmakers’ Hangout, hosted by Philm Factory. These events are a celebration of local talent and the magic of filmmaking, bringing together filmmakers, actors, crew members, movie buffs, and industry professionals. Enjoy a curated screening of short films, test your movie knowledge with trivia, and mingle with fellow creatives in a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re a filmmaker, aspiring director, actor, or simply a movie lover, there’s something for everyone!
Submission Guidelines:

Film Duration: Must be under 15 minutes (including credits).

Any Genre: We welcome all types of films—drama, comedy, documentary, experimental, animation, and more. If you’ve made it, we want to see it!

Open to All: Whether you’re an independent filmmaker, part of a production team, or a student, this is your chance to showcase your vision.

Talkback Session: After your film is screened, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a 3-5 Minute talkback session with the audience. This is your chance to share insights about your film, discuss your creative process, and answer any questions. It’s a fantastic opportunity to engage directly with your viewers!
How to Submit:

Deadline: Rolling basis—if your film is not selected for the upcoming Filmmaker’s Hangout, we will consider it for future screenings). Dates will be announced monthly.

Format: Please submit your film via submission here. Films must be submitted in digital format (MP4 preferred).
Screening Details:
Films will be screened on the big screen during the Filmmaker’s Hangout event, offering a cinematic experience for both filmmakers and attendees. You will also receive a custom promotional card to share that your film is screening at the Filmmaker’s Hangout.
