Intro To Filmmaking: Learn the entire process of filmmaking from development to completion. Students are placed in departments to create a short film with the cohort. Departments: Talent, Camera, Art & Assistant Directing. For aspiring Filmmakers, actors, cinematographers, etc. (For beginners)
Practical Filmmaking: This six-week course is designed for creatives with film experience who want to hone their craft or learn new skills in filmmaking. Participants take on real-world departmental roles such as AD, Art, Talent, and Camera, refining technical skills, etc. (For those with film experience)
Intro To Cinematography: This class is for beginners interested in learning the basics of cinematography. “Experience is the best teacher” and so students will create micro-film projects that can be used for reels and portfolios.
Intro to Screenwriting: This class is for beginners interested in learning the fundamentals of storytelling and scriptwriting. Students will create short scripts and scene exercises that can be used for reels, portfolios, or future productions.
On-Camera Acting: This on-camera course is designed for both new and experienced actors who want to strengthen their performance skills, building character, breaking down scenes, connecting emotionally, and working naturally on screen.
Assistant Directing: Along with your passion for films, you’ve always been good at organization, management, and have strong leadership skills?… Well this class is for you! Learn about the role of the Assistant Directing Department on a film set.
Advance Acting: This course is for experienced actors to continue to hone their craft and challenge themselves as performers, be involved in short films or live productions to build their portfolio or reel.
