Course Overview: On-Camera Acting
This five week course is designed for both new and experienced actors who want to strengthen their on camera performance skills. Students will learn and refine essential techniques including character development, scene analysis, emotional truth, voice, movement, and working naturally on camera. Through guided exercises, filmed scene work, and professional feedback, participants will build confidence, elevate their craft, and perform polished scenes for class and a final showcase. Students must be 18 or older.
This course is ideal for anyone with a passion for acting, whether you are just beginning or looking to deepen your on camera skills in a supportive and hands on environment.

CLASS SCHEDULE
WEEKLY CLASS SESSIONS – Tuesdays 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Week 1 – February 3, 2026: Course introduction, acting fundamentals, character development exercises, and scene assignments
Week 2 – February 10, 2026: Improvisation, voice, and movement exercises; begin rehearsing assigned scenes
Week 3 – February 17, 2026: Scene work intensives; refine character interactions, pacing, and emotional range
Week 4 – February 24, 2026: Rehearsals with focus on blocking, timing, and performance polish
Week 5 – March 3, 2026: Final rehearsal, feedback, and preparation for performance showcase. (Can be live or video/filmed performances)
Final Performance Showcase – Date to Be Announced
Students present their scenes in a class showcase for peers, instructors, and invited guests.
